IXP is a provider of planning, implementing and managing emergency-response solutions for public safety in large cities and rural communities, major universities, elite colleges and corporations around the country. In addition to creating their company web site (desktop and mobile), the one of Weblications WEBPartners created new branding in the form a new logo, signage, other marketing materials. This project is most relevant to this proposal—the website was implemented using the Kentico Content Management System and the WEBPartner provided strategic marketing services in the form of new branding and website layout design direction.
The objectives of this project are listed below:
Weblications architected the website (desktop and mobile) functionality. The entire solution was implemented using the Kentico Content Management System, utilizing much of the build in functionality to build out all of the functionality which included content section specific case studies and news.
In order to meet the requirements of IXP, Weblications worked with all of the departments and staff involved in the planning and day-to-day activities. A specific document type called "Case Study" was created to house the content and also the search / display criteria for each of the case studies. The Kentico Custom Document type allowed this functionality to be created. The case studies are selected by domain, section of the website and focus. Each consulting, technology andservice pages on the website have content specific Case Studies listed for reference.
The mobile implementation is specific to the needs of the mobile user. The content is pulled automatically from other sections of the website (including the case studies and news). Only them main content needs to be updated to update the mobile automatically as well.
The Website is hosted at the Weblications Hosting Facility - Weblications is a Kentico Web Hosting Partner.
