1. Select "Settings" from your desktop.

  1. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from the "Settings" menu.

  1. Select "Add Mail Account" from the "Mail" menu.

  1. Select "POP" and enter your name in the "Name" field, your full email address (you@yourdomain.com) in the "Address" field and a description for the account in the "Description" field.

  1. Scroll down and input the settings for your Incoming Mail Server. Enter "mail#.weblications.com" in the "Host Name" field, replacing "#" with the number of the Weblications mail server i.e. mail2/3 or 4. Enter your full email address in the "User Name" field and your password in the "Password" field.

  1. Scroll down and input the settings for the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). Enter the same mail server used in step #7. Enter your full email address in the "User Name" field and your password in the "Password" field. Press the "Save" button in the top right hand side of the screen.

  1. This will then add your mail account and it will be listed under "Accounts" with the description you entered in step #6. Press the account name to configure the remaining settings.

  1. Click the "Advanced" option.

  1. Ensure that the Outgoing Server is set to "Server Port" 587 (some ISPs block the default port 25) and that the "Use SSL" slider is set to "OFF".

  1. Ensure that the Incoming Server is set to "Server Port" 110 and "Use SSL" slider is set to "OFF".
  Note
If you are also using Outlook or another email client, you should keep the "Remove" option set to "Never". If the phone will be your only way of checking mail,you will want to delete mail from the server every so often.

Congratulations! Your mail account is now set up!

Should you receive sending errors after double checking your settings, it is rather likely that your ISP is blocking outbound email. If this is the case, you will need to call the ISP’s tech support, to find out the name of their mail server and make the adjustment in step #8.
